FCE Kano to get full accreditation in February

The Federal College of Education (FCE), Kano, has concluded arrangements to secure full accreditation for all its programmes by February, 2016.
Provost of the college, Dr. Rabi Jibrilla Muhammad, said this in Kano at a workshop on the NCE Minimum Standards and launch of Quality Assurance Toolkit for Institutional Self-Assessment.
She said in preparation for full accreditation, the college between 2010 and now, sponsored over 150 staff to undergo higher degrees both within and outside the country.
“We have registered 63 lecturers for PhD programme both within and outside the country and 47 others have registered for Master degree in Nigeria”, she said.
She described lack of funds as part of  challenges bedevilling the college.
