The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) say it is conducting investigations into certain segments of the importation, manufacture, assembly and distribution of generators.
In a statement signed by its Executive Vice Chairman/CEO, Babatunde Irukera, the commission said it is investigating Jubaili Brothers; Mikano International Limited and JMG after convincing a federal high court that there is probable cause and prima facie evidence of infringements of the FCCPA.
Irukera said the warrant was after credible intelligence and preliminary investigation, to secure vital information and evidence from key targets and large industry players whose businesses and practices have been implicated on surveillance work already done.
“The commission simultaneously executed the search warrants on the identified targets and secured certain information from targets of the investigation.
