An Ilorin magistrates’ court in Kwara State has remanded one Jimoh Lukman 45 for raping his 14-year- old daughter.
The prosecutor, Sanni Abdullah, said the accused had been indulging in the unlawful act for several months before his wife, Sidikat, caught him and reported.
He said, “The defendant had been intimidating and threatening to deal with the victim and her mother if they exposed the criminal act to anyone or to any law enforcement agent.”
The Magistrate, Aminat Omotayo Shittu, granted the prosecutor’s request and ordered the defendant’s remand and adjourned to December 22, 2022.
