The Police in Osun State, on Thursday, arraigned father of a student of Oduduwa College, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Adeyeni Adeyeye, for allegedly beating the teacher of his son, Mr Sanusi Ademola in the school.
Adeyeye, who was arraigned at the Ile-Ife Magistrate’s Court, was accused of harassing and beating the teacher who disciplined his erring son.

The prosecutor, ASP Abdullahi Emmanuel, told the court that the accused person committed the offence on February 1, 2021, around 10:30 am on the school premises.
He added that the accused person unlawfully assaulted the teacher by hitting him with fist blows and tearing his shirt.
The prosecutor said the accused conducted himself in a manner likely to cause a breach of public peace by invading his son’s school with thugs and assaulted the teacher.
He said that the offence committed by the accused contravened Sections 249(d), 351, 383, 390(9), 451 and 516 of the Criminal Code, Cap 32, Laws of Osun, 2002.
The accused pleaded not guilty and his counsel, Oluwatosin Ademola, pleaded for the bail of the accused.
In his ruling, Magistrate A. A. Adebayo granted the bail application in the sum of N1million and adjourned the case till March 3.
