The Super Eagles have a chance to get revenge against the Benin Republic’s Cheetahs, who they lost to in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying round in Abidjan.
In Benin Republic’s 17 meetings with Nigeria, the Super Eagles have won 13, lost 2, and drawn 2.
In a 1-0 triumph over the Super Eagles in 2017, the Cheetahs won for the first time and then for the second time during the most recent international break.
