Fan Milk International, a subsidiary of Danone, has launched Go Slo, a premium ice cream brand in Nigeria.
Go Slo was unveiled at a tasting event held on Tuesday in Lagos where selected guests had the opportunity of having firsthand experience of the four variance of the premium ice cream, namely: the Peanut Butter, Cookies & Cream, Salted Caramel, and Chocolate Almond.
The audience were also able to give good feedbacks after the variance tasting.
Addressing journalists after the tasting, the Marketing Manager of Go Slo, Kola Adeniyi, said the premium ice cream brand were made with Nigerians in mind and expertly crafted to provide a relaxing and indulgent experience that adapts to customers’ daily needs and lifestyles.
Speaking on the product name, Adeniyi added that “Go Slo” is also a constant reminder to Nigerians to take a break from the fast-paced, hustle and bustle living, which in the long term could affect the health of Nigerians.
He encouraged people to find time to savour the good things life has to offer.
“We believe that life should be taken at a slow and steady pace, and with this we are urging Nigerians to find that balance,” he said.
Go Slo features four decadent variants, said Adeniyi, adding that the product range is made in Nigeria for Nigerians to enjoy varied taste buds.
He noted that Go Slo ice cream is now available in major supermarkets nationwide in 460ml and 320ml tubs.
Guests at the event include Nigerian celebrities such as Toke Makinwa, Denola Grey, Timini Egbuson, Latasha Ngwube, and Deyemi Okanlawon, amongst others who graced the luxury private tasting event.
