The wife of the governor of Plateau state, Mrs Regina Simon Lalong has commission six primary health cares in Jos South and Jos North local government areas of the state to enable women access and use of family planning services.
The primary health cares commissioned were located at Bukuru Jos Express way, Bukuru Central and Vwang in Jos South LG.
Others were at Township, Dogon Agogo and Tudun-Wada communities of Jos North local government area.
During the commission at the primary health care at Jos-Bukuru Express-Way in Jos on Monday, the First lady represented by the wife of Deputy Governor of Plateau state, Mrs Abigail Sonny Tyoden said the clinics were commissioned to enable women have satisfied sexual and reproductive health services.
She said, “Family Planning/child spacing remains a key strategy to reduce rate at which women die from pregnancy and pregnancy-related complications or outcomes, I therefore urge all concern to make the optimal use of the clinics.”
“I appeal to our dear husbands to support their wives to access and use family planning and child spacing services available to them.” She said.
