The Kebbi State Police Command has donated the sum of N1million to the family of the Divisional Police Officer who was killed by a solider in the Danmarke area of Zamfara State.
A statement by the command’s Police Public Relations Officer, SP Nafiu Abubakar, said the state Commissioner of Police, Bello M. Sani, on behalf of officers of the command made the donation to the family of the deceased to ease their financial needs before receiving his benefits.
The statement said, “The Commissioner of Police and his team visited Gumbi town, Wamakko Local Government Area of Sokoto State to condole with the family of SP Haliru Liman who was brutally murdered by the Nigerian Army personnel, at Danmarke village, Bukkuyum area of Zamfara State”.

It added that the police commissioner described SP Liman as courageous and highly disciplined police officer, who served his country with dedication.
The statement said the CP also visited the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 10 Headquarters, Sokoto, AIG Lawal Abubakar Daura, where he briefed him about the incident and the level of investigation made so far.
