It was a rain of tributes for the late Mrs. Charity Maduka, Vice-President of Coscharis Group of Companies who passed away on in November 2021.

For the family of the billionaire businessman and Chairman of Coscharis Group of Companies, Dr. Cosmas Maduka, the death of Mrs. Maduka was a blow to the family.

Speaking at the Night of Tributes in honour of Mrs. Maduka held on Monday, Cosmas Madua Jnr, the son of the deceased, described Mrs. Maduka as the major pillar and support of the Maduka family.

According to him, late Maduka was supportive as a wife and mother to the children, adding that her humanitarian gesture was second to none.

Maduka said, “She was our pillar. Mum and dad sometimes. She impacted on everybody. She lived up to her name because she lived a charitable life, tried her best to please everyone that came her way.”

Earlier, dignitaries mostly from the church of the deceased, Local Christian Assembly, paid glowing tributes to Mrs. Maduka.

They described her as a typical example of a Christian and enjoined everyone present to imbibe her resilient character.

Mrs. Ayo Akintade, in her tribute said late Maduka was charitable, courageous, brilliant and was blessed with many skills, which she used in her service to the growth of the work of God and mankind.

She said: “Just like her name Christy, she was very charitable and was a dedicated Christian despite her health challenges at the latter part of her years. She constantly served the Lord. She had a large heart and was a burden bearer.”

Also, Dr. Charles Mgbe, said Maduka was a very brilliant lady who knew what she wanted and how to get them without compromising her Christian faith.

“She was the glue that bound the entire family. No doubt, she would be missed by all especially the children and the church,” he added.

Mrs. Maduka would be interred at Nnewi, Anambra State, this week.
