FAME Foundation has launched the PLAY it DREAM it Football Boot-camp for Internally Displaced Girls in Abuja.
According to the Executive Director, Mrs Aderonke Bello during the launch said the boot camp is aimed at teaching the girls life skills in the field of football.

She stated that PLAY it DREAM it, is an initiative of FAME Foundation aimed at using sports as a tool for the achievements of SDGs 3, 4, 5, and 10 by contributing to the reduction in inequalities among girls in crisis situations with a focus on Internally Displaced Girls and young girls in Nigeria.
“We are using football, the number one sport in Nigeria to empower the girl child. Football is a national language where we forget our tribe, gender, class, etc., and embrace one Nigeria. There is a boot camp that will be taken every month for three years where we will teach the girls how to play football and mentor them on hygiene, leadership and the importance of education, gender equality and the danger of child marriage.
She said the foundation believes in sports being a powerful tool which can bring immense change and development of the society is implemented strategically.
