Falana donates food to orphanage

Wife of Human Rights activist, Mrs. Funmi Falana, has donated food, beverages and toiletries, among others, to the children of Erelu Adebayo Motherless Babies Home at Iyin-Ekiti.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mrs. Falana, said the gesture was her own little way of giving hope and a sense of belonging to the less privileged in the society.

According to Mrs. Falana, the children at the motherless home deserve the whole care and love from well to do individuals, expressing optimism that the children had what it takes for them to compete with others in the society.

She called on all other state governments in the country to emulate the Ekiti state government by domesticating the child rights Act, describing it as essential for the protection of the rights of the children in the society.
