The Jigawa State Police Command has arrested Usman Khalil (25) from Kano State for posing as a policeman in Dutse.
In a statement, the command’s spokesman, DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam, said that the suspect went to one Aliyu Bako of Mechanic Village, Dutse, in a police uniform and bought food commodities that cost N4,300 on credit.

He said the suspect also collected a cash of N5,000, totaling N9,300, and promised to pay back as soon as he fixed his salary account.
He added that the suspect and exhibits had been transferred to the CID for a discreet investigation.
