The National Action Committee on the African Continental Free Trade Area Agreement (AFCFTA) has urged the Kano business community to use opportunities provided by the federal government to explore African markets for business prosperity.
The call was made by the lead expert on Trade Enablement Action Committee on AFCFTA, Mr Olusegun Olotayo, during a one-day sensitisation tour of Kano.

He added that all the products being produced in the African continent might be rejected in Europe or America on account of not attaining the set standard in terms of quality and other prerequisite recommendations.
In his remarks, Second Deputy President of Kano Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KACCIMA), Uba Tanko Mijinyawa, said sensitisation was a vital key to ensuring that business owners in the state adopted the new system of marketing and exporting their products within African countries.
