IT Horizons, Africa’s leading information technology partner, has collaborated with CEBAR, an international education consulting firm dedicated to advancing education standards across Africa and beyond, to host the Abuja Educators Conference 2024.
The conference was themed ‘Envoys of Change: Developing Content, Character, and Capacity’.
Shedding light on the partnership, the Managing Director of IT Horizons, Mr Olusegun Enitan Dada, stated that the collaboration represents an opportunity to innovate teaching methods and emphasise character development.
“Equipping educators with the tools to nurture every child’s potential remains paramount. The integration of education and technology is crucial, ensuring students have access to a smart learning environment with features such as digital libraries and blended learning. This approach fosters collaborative growth and transformation in the education sector,” he said.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of CEBAR, Mrs Carol Barlow, the Abuja Educators Conference was a premier event that brought together educators, policymakers, researchers, stakeholders and industry experts to discuss pivotal issues and innovations in education.
“The theme was selected to explore how educators can build capacity to drive transformative change in education despite Nigeria’s current challenges,” Barlow stated.
