‘Expect shortage of water supply on Saturday,’ FCT Water Board tells residents

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Water Board has announced that there will be shortage of water supply to some areas of the FCT due to some routine maintenance work over the weekend.  

In a statement, the board announced that the maintenance, which will last for only one day, will take effect from 4am on Saturday until 6pm.

However, full supply would resume the following day – Sunday, according to the statement signed by the board’s management.

It added that as a result of the exercise, residents of Maitama, Asokoro, Wuse I&II and Garki I&II will experience low water supply. 

Similarly, the residents of Kubwa, Gwagwalada, Airport and their environs will experience shortage of water supply.

While regretting the inconvenience the maintenance work will cause, the board also advised the residents of the affected areas to store for the period.
