The Chief of Army Staff, Lt General, Tukur Buratai, on Tuesday said that the exercise Ayem A’kpatuma (cat race) is not targeted at any individual as it would only help to curb security challenges bedevilling Benue State and its environ.
Buratai gave the assurance during the flag off of the exercise at Mbambegha village, near Gbagjimgba in Guma Local Government Area of Benue state which marked the official commencement of the military offensive against criminal elements masquerading as herdsmen.

"Ayem A’kpatuma is an exercise that would help familiarise our troops to the challenge of internal security and this is jointly being conducted with other services of the armed forces as well as other security agencies especially the police, DSS and other paramilitary organisations.
