A former speaker of Taraba State House of Assembly, Mark Useni, has won the last Saturday’s supplementary election to represent Ussa/Donga/ Takum federal constituency in the House of Representatives.
Useni defeated the incumbent lawmaker, Rima Shawulu.
The returning officer, Professor Luka Juma, said Mark Useni of APC scored 25,929 votes to defeat Shawulu of NNPP, who got 25,350 votes.

PDP’s Istifanus Gbana scored 20, 234 votes.
Similarly, All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate, Anas Shuaibu won state assembly seat to represent Karim-Lamido 2 constituency.
The returning officer, Dr Bawuro Manga, said Anas scored 7,104 votes to defeat other contestants.
