A former Plateau United and Jos City Raiders FC player, Felix Terwase Akile ‘Coach Baggio’, who passed away recently after a brief illness, will be buried on Thursday, October 15.

According to the burial programme released by family, final wake will hold today, October 14 at Tse Imenger Bu, Mbakyongu-Mbaakume off Korinya road, Ihugh, Mbadede Vandeikya LGA of Benue State while interment will be on October 15 at the same venue.

The first wake for late Terwase Akile attended by football fraternity in Benue State and beyond held Tuesday at the family house No-15 Ijir Tarzoho street Gboko South.

His immediate younger brother and former Wikki Tourists and Lobi Stars midfielder, Henry Terngu Akile ‘Kpoya’ in a tribute said the former Plateau United player will be missed greatly.

“Being my immediate elder, we enjoyed a very unique relationship which was intimate and full of understanding.

“Even with the age difference between us, we related more like age mates.

“With determination and resilience, we played the beautiful game of football at the same time making many to conclude that we were twins.

“I am pained by your sudden demise but who am I to question God?. I will forever miss you dear brother. Continue to rest in peace,” he said.
