The court further heard that the offenses are contrary and punishable under Sections 96, 97, 286 and 287 of the Penal Code Law.

When asked by the court, they all pleaded guilty to the two-count charge levelled against them.

In view of their plea, the Prosecution counsel, Barrister Israel, applied to the court to convict them accordingly.

The Defence counsel, Barrister L.A. Haruna, pleaded with the court to temper justice with mercy as his clients pleaded guilty on the first day of their arraignment.

In her verdict, Justice Beatrice Iliya pronounced them guilty and convicted them.
