Oghenekaro Etebo has become the third player to pull out of forthcoming friendlies against Algeria and Tunisia after he was injured in action for Turkish club Galatasaray at the weekend.
The national team announced the player’s withdrawal.
Etebo suffered a knock during the league derby against Kasimpasa, which Galatasaray lost 1-0.
The defensive midfielder became the third player to pull out of the matches against Algeria on Friday and Tunisia on October 13, all in Austria.
Leicester City star Wilfred Ndidi was first to opt out after he recently underwent surgery for a groin injury, while at the weekend Napoli striker Victor Osimhen was excused for the friendlies.
