Estate surveyors appoint first female registrar

The Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON) appointed Janet Oyeteju Shehu as the new registrar following a unanimous decision at the board’s meeting.

ESV Shehu, until her appointment, was the deputy registrar of the board and head of the Northern Region and Registration Unit.

Since the establishment of the board in 1975, Mrs. Shehu is the first woman to be appointed registrar of the board.
