Erosion threatens Nasarawa community

Fear has gripped residents of Kilema community in Lafia LGA of Nasarawa State as erosion is threatening them following the leakage of water pipes.

Our correspondent who visited the area gathered that the leakage of the large water pipes occurred on June 27, 2023, and was causing damage by discharging large volumes of water.

The Ward Head of Kilema, Alhaji Bage Kariyoma, appealed to Gov Abdullahi Sule to look into the plight of his people, noting that they were peace-loving and would never take the law into their hands.
