Erisco Foods Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Nnamdi Umeofia as the Managing Director, and Mr. Adetokunbo Agbede as the Executive Director (ED), Operations.
The President and Chief Executive Officer of Erisco Foods, in a statement said the appointments are with immediate effect.
He said: “In order to position our company for a better future, we have no choice but to make plans for succession and that prompted us to promote the current Executive Director of operations to the Managing Director and the current General Manager to the Executive Director operations.”
The new MD, Umeofia is an Accounting, Finance and Management Science graduate of the University of Michigan, United States. He had worked in the US before joining Erisco Foods in 2013. Until his appointment, he was the ED, Operations.
“I am honoured to be given this mantle of responsibility, which is a testament to my dedication that has and would never be deterred,” Umeofia said.
Agbede, the new ED, Operations has worked with Erisco Foods for 10 years serving as the General Manager.
