Erelu Fayemi advocates more inclusion for people living with disability

The wife of Ekiti State Governor, Erelu Bisi Fayemi, has assured people living with disability of equal participation and opportunities in the state.

Erelu Fayemi, while speaking at an emergency meeting with the Association of People Living with Disability, Ekiti State chapter, in her office, allayed the fear of marginalisation expressed by the group.

She said the government would give special consideration to them in line with laid down rules and regulations.

The physically challenged people were demanding the implementation of the policy, which ceded five per cent of employment to the People Living with Disability. They contended that judging from the last recruitment exercise done in the state, they discovered that the policy was set aside.
