The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has cautioned motorists against over speeding.
The FRSC Commander for Zone 9, Mr Owoimaha Udoma, gave the warning on Sunday in Enugu, when he briefed newsmen on major road corridors he had monitored in the ongoing “FRSC Operation Zero”.
The FRSC Zone 9 consists of Abia, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo States.
Udoma bemoaned the rate of impatience among motorists within the major road corridors.
According to him, the high rate of impatience among motorists had caused “lane indiscipline and driving against traffic”, thereby worsening the traffic situation in some major road corridors in the South-East zone.
