The football association has stated that England won’t be playing against Russia in any international fixtures as a result of the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
The FA released a statement through their official Twitter page on Sunday, 27th February 2022, to confirm the news.

They said, “Out of solidarity with Ukraine and to wholeheartedly condemn the atrocities being committed by the Russian leadership, The FA can confirm that we won’t play against Russia in any international fixtures for the foreseeable future. This includes any potential match at any level of senior, age group or para football”.
Countries like Poland, Sweden and Czech Republic have all pulled out from all football matches with Russia.
Recall that on Thursday the 24th of February, 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine and this has led to loss of lives and properties. Russian president, Vladimir Putin, had also warned countries that would want to interfere that he was going to go hard on them if they tried to.
