A 31-year-old artificial intelligence engineer in Hangzhou, Zhemg Jiajia has used his skill to create a female robot which he claims to have married so as to get his parents off his back.
According to Shangaiist, his friend, Zheng wedding to the robot was as a result of him suffering a serious heartbreak from a college girlfriend in the past which made him vowed to never go into any relationship anymore.
It was reported that Zheng made his robot bride the official spokesman of his start-up company- Brain of Things, revealing that his robot bride can identify Chinese characters, images and even say a few simple words.
Zheng also told local publications that he plans to upgrade Yingying so she can talk, move around and even do housework.
