Solomon Adeola (APC, Lagos West) has asked the Federal Government to support the Lagos State Government in rebuilding destroyed public facilities during the mayhem that trailed the EndSARS protest.
Adeola, who is also the chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance, said the Lagos State Government could not handle the rebuilding of destroyed facilities destroyed alone.

The lawmaker, in a statement by his media aide, Kayode Odunaro, also called on the Federal Government to grant Lagos State a special status.
He noted that over the years, many attempts had been made in the agitation for a special status for Lagos State on the basis of its being the nation’s economic nerve centre and its status as the former Federal Capital of Nigeria with many federal infrastructures and huge population of all tribes of Nigeria.
