Economic activities suffered disruptions in Osogbho as #EnDSARS protesters blocked major roads and prevented movement of vehicles.
The protesters arranged a disc jockey, set up canopies on the popular Olaiya junction and organised a dancing competition, turning the protest to party on the main road.
The commercial motorcycle operators also joined the protest and blocked the road with the Motorcycles.
The protesters insisted that their demands was beyond dissolution of SARS. They called for total overhauling of the Nigerian Police.
The residents of Osogbo lamented that the protesters subjected them to hardship and disrupted their businesses.
Bosun Ademola who is a commercial driver said he could not work because protesters blocked the roads.
The shop owners closed their shops since the protest started at 10am and they could not open their shop for business as at 3:30pm because of the protest.
A trader, Elizabeth Abiola said, “This protest is becoming something else. What else do they want. Why are they blocking the roads? They did not allow us to open our shops. What’s the meaning of that? Government must deal with this because it gradually turning into anarchy.”
