The Yaba Chief Magistrate Court in Lagos on Tuesday threw out an application by the police to remand #EndSARS protester, Eromosele Adene, instead it admitted him to a N1million bail with two sureties.
The accused person is charged with breach of public peace, incitement, cyber stalking, and alleged involvement in the #EndSARS protest.

As early as 8:00 am, the road leading to the Yaba Magistrate Court was cordoned off by the police forcing all motorists to follow alternative routes.
Earlier, before the judgment, the police told the court that the application to remand Eromosele for 30 more days was meant for investigation and not prosecution.
Lead counsel to the accused person, Adesina Ogunlana, described the police application as incompetent and urged the court to admit his client to bail.
Eromosele was on November 7 arrested at his home in Ikeja, Lagos. He was taken to the police command headquarters and then transferred to the Area F Command before the police detained him at the SCID, Panti. He was last Monday flown to Abuja and detained for seven days before he was taken back to Lagos on Sunday.
