The National Orientation Agency (NOA) in Plateau has called for calm among the youth over the #EndSARS protests to enable government to provide solution to the issues raised.
A statement signed by Dazong Dung, Public Relations Officer (PRO) for the acting state director of the agency, on Wednesday in Jos, urged the youth to remain calm and allow government to look into their demands with a view to proffering lasting solutions to them.

According to Dung, the only way to reaching a consensus in a conflict situation is dialogue.
“We therefore call on government to engage the youth in a constructive dialogue in order to come to the end of the problem.
“We appeal to parents, religious leaders, traditional rulers and opinion moulders to call their wards and subjects to order, to be law abiding as we await government’s further action,” he said.
He said the agency regretted the resultant loss of lives and destruction to property of both government and private individuals in the peaceful protests later hijacked by hoodlums and miscreants. (NAN)
