The Oluwo of Iwoland in Osun State, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has pleaded with President Muhammadu Buhari to talk to Nigerian youths as a father to end to the ongoing protest nationwide.
The paramount traditional ruler said this in a statement he made available to Daily Trust on Wednesday.
Oluwo stated: “President Muhammadu Buhari please come out and address these restless youths! Give account of your stewardship, tell them the good you have done in the past five years and mistakes you have made…give them hope for a better tomorrow.
“These are the children of the Giant of Africa which means they are “GIANTS “… they might not cow in except you talk to them like a father”
The mornach condemned the violent dimension brought into the peaceful protests by hoodlums.
“To the hoodlums and thugs derailing the efforts of the peaceful protesters, I say shame on you”, Oba Akanbi said.
