Some individuals on Saturday morning burgled and looted some private businesses in Osogbo, Osun State capital, using the EndSARS protest as cover.
Earlier on Friday, residents burgled and looted the warehouse in Ede where the State Food Relief Committee kept the COVID-19 palliatives received from Coalition Against COVID-19 (CACOVID).

The residents of Ilesa, the hometown of the immediate past governor and Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, also burgled the government silo in the town and looted the grains kept there.
In Osogbo, the residents gathered at the government warehouse at Old-Garage in an attempt to burgle it but they were prevented by Soldiers deployed to protect the warehouse.
The looters thereafter descended on private businesses in Osogbo, looted retail outlets and shops and carted wares away.
The looters bombarded the private businesses of the Asiwaju Musuluni (Leader of Muslims) of Yorubaland, Olatunde Badmus, Tuns Farms Limited and looted the company.
They also looted Olorunda Local Government Council in Osogbo and Iwo local government in Iwo among other places. They set the Iwo LG Secretariat ablaze.
The business owners in Osogbo lamented that the EndSARS protest disrupted their business for two weeks and that the hoodlums extorted them during the period.
