EndSARS: Lagos hospital set ablaze for rejecting injured protester

Lagoon Hospital located at Liverpool in Apapa, Lagos was reportedly set ablaze by the ENDSARS protesters for allegedly rejecting an injured protester.

It was gathered that some armed policemen deployed to the Tincan area of Apapa shot at the irate crowd who were protesting and in the process, a bullet hit one of the protesters.

On rushing the victim to Lagoon hospital which was the nearest hospital around the area, he was allegedly denied entry at the entrance of the hospital.

This enraged the other protesters who attacked the hospital and set it ablaze.

A bonfire was also set outside the gate of the hospital preventing anyone from going on to save the patients and health workers in the facilities.

As at the time of filing this report, the number of patients in the hospital could not be ascertained and all efforts to reach the management of the hospital proved abortive.
