The Ebonyi State Police Command, on Thursday, said that the hoodlums who hijacked the EndSARS protest in the state, gruesomely murdered a Police Inspector, Egu Omini, and cut off his private parts.
The command, while giving further update on the effect of the crisis, noted that it lost two officers during the mayhem while four were wounded.

The four officers wounded, Daily Trust gathered, were responding to treatment.
The state Commissioner of police, Mr. Philip Maku, made this known in a statement issued on Thursday.
Maku explained that the hoodlums, who were suspected to be members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, (lPOB), also snatched AK-47 riffles from the two deceased officers.
His words; “So, at whole, we lost 2 officers and they are Inspr. Egu Omini and PC Akpu Paul, while 4 others were injured and they are ASP Akili Benson, Inspr Okewu Sunday, Inspr Egun Omini and PC Ali Samson
‘So the Monday 26/10/2020 reinvasion at the Central Police Station Abakaliki for the second time, the hoodlums set the station on fire together with Police patrol vehicles, exhibit vehicles, tricycles/motorcycles and other police property seen within the station.
‘They also shoot sporadically at the Policemen, as result gruesomely murdered One Inspr Egu Omini, cuts off his private part and snatched his AK-47 riffle,” he explained.
