At least no fewer than seven cars were set ablaze on Monday in Abuja when suspected hoodlums launched an attack on protesters demanding an end to police brutality in the country.
An eyewitness account disclosed that the suspected hoodlums attacked the protesters at Apo mechanic village.

The protesters had blocked the road leading to the mechanic village, an action the suspected miscreants objected to.
This led to attacks on the #ENDSARS protesters and the burning of vehicles parked at the roadside car mart.

The #ENDSARS protest has turned violent in some states and the FCT as suspected hoodlums are believed to have hijacked the process.
Earlier in the day, the protest march in Edo State led to a prison break that saw several inmates walking out of the Correctional Centre in Benin City.
At least two people were reportedly killed in the prison breach.
