President Muhammadu Buhari will come up with certain solutions in a couple of hours to address the burning issues over the ongoing #EndSARS protests across the country.
The National Security Adviser (NSA), retired Major General Babagana Monguno, announced this on Thursday after a four-hour meeting of National Security Council presided over by President Buhari.
There have been several calls on the President to address the nation, particularly after the alleged shooting by the soldiers at Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos.
He said the President’s expected address would come up with resolutions that would be agreeable to the entire federation.

Monguno, who said President Buhari had directed that all necessary steps be taken in order to reach an agreeable resolution, voiced his opposition to a descent to a state of anarchy in any part of the country.
He said the President also directed the security agencies to operate within the confine of legitimacy by not doing what would aggravate the situation.
“The security agencies have been asked to apply as much restraint as possible,” Mr Monguno said after the president held a meeting with his defence chiefs.
He, however, stressed the need for the protesters to make concessions since the government had agreed to work on all their demands before the situation took another dimension.
He said it was not the desire of the President to see unwanted loss of lives.
