The police in Lagos have filed a three count criminal charge against three suspected arsonists who allegedly set fire on Ilemba Hausa Police Post and Police Barracks, property of the Federal Government of Nigeria.
The charge was signed by Superintendent of Police Cardozo Yetunde from the Lagos State Police Command.

The suspected arsonists are Chibuike Madu, 35, Maruf Banuso, 35, and Timothy Dike, 20. They are alleged to have conspired with others who are still on the run to commit the offence during the #EndSARS protest.
The alleged offence was committed on October 20, 2020 at Ilemba Hausa Police Post, Ajangbadi, Lagos in the Lagos Magisterial District, contrary to and punishable under Section 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
The suspects were also said to have in your possession a motorcycle suspected to have been stolen or unlawfully obtained and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 329 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2015.
They all pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Further hearing has been fixed for February 8, 2021.
