The Ondo State High Court sitting at the Olokuta Medium Prison in Akure has granted bail to Kemisola Ogunniyi, an 18-year-old girl detained during #EndSARS protest.
She was two months pregnant at the time of her arrest and she gave birth to a baby boy on June 16, 2021, at Surulere Prison in Ondo town.

Justice Omolara Adejumo on Tuesday granted Kemisola bail in the sum of 10 million naira and a surety in like sum.
Kemisola was arrested in Akure and imprisoned in October 2020. She claimed she was arrested while going to a pharmacy to buy drugs for her mother.
The police claimed she was part of the #EndSARS protesters who burnt the office of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Akure.
Others arrested are, Ayodele Bukunmi, Ojo Samuel and Ani Obinna.
