Akwa Ibom State Governor Udom Emmanuel has urged Nigerians to pursue ideas that promote national unity and peaceful coexistence.
The governor, in a statement yesterday by his Chief Press Secretary Mr Ekerete Udoh, charged Nigerians to use the June 12 Democracy Day celebration to rededicate themselves to pursuing issues that cement national cohesion.
He said Nigeria had experienced a deepening of its democratic culture since the return to civil rule in 1999 and deserved commendation.
