The Emir of Kauran Namoda, in Zamfara State, Alhaji Muhammad Sunusi Ahmad Asha, has urged Kaduna Electric to build a cordial relationship with his emirate to ensure effective service delivery.
He made the call when the management of the company’s Gusau Area Office paid him a courtesy visit in his palace.

“We realise that as a private organisation, you depend on revenue generation through customers from payment and settlement of bills.
“As royal fathers, we are mandated to intervene in any way and ensure that our people enjoy uninterrupted power supply,” he stated
The traditional leader urged the company to enlighten and engage its customers on electricity payment and other related issues in Kaura Namoda.
He described electricity as a very important backbone of any development.
“No place or country in the world will progress without adequate electricity,’’ he stressed.
The Area Manager of Gusau Area Office, Engr Saidu Dogara, apologised for any misunderstanding and promised to maintain the cordial relation with the emirate council.
