Alhaji Bashir Bukar Machinama, the Emir of Machina in Yobe State, on Monday, urged his subjects to ensure they enroll their children for formal education.
Alhaji Machinama gave the advice in Machina at a town hall meeting on the implementation of the “Keeping Girls in School Programme” organised by his emirate.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the programme is being implemented in Machina and Bade LGAs which are experiencing low enrolment of girls in school.
The emir noted that girl child education was critical to the success of every society.
