The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero has commended Dangote Industries Limited for their performance at the ongoing Kano International Trade Fair in the state.
The emir made the commendation on Sunday when he visited the trade fair ground in Kano along with other government officials.
Received by the company’s representative, Alhaji Abdulsalam Waya and Chairman, Trade Fair Committee, Alhaji Uba Tanko Mijinyawa at the Dangote Group’s pavilion, the emir said he was visibly elated by their performance, given the challenges businesses face around the world.
The Emir also commended the Kano Government, Kano Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KACCIMA), and other participating companies in the ongoing 42nd Kano International Trade Fair that closes on Saturday, December 11.
The Emir’s visit came soon after the Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje visited the company’s pavilion.
The governor who was represented by the Commissioner of Commerce and Industry, Ibrahim Mukhtar said the contribution of Mr. Dangote to Kano and indeed Nigeria, in the areas of industrialisation and job creation, cannot be quantified.
