Emir Bayero congratulates 52 Quranic education graduates

The Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, has graduated 52 Islamiyya school students of Gwani Danzarga Institute for Tahfeezul Qur’an and General Studies in Kano. 

The graduation ceremony took place on Wednesday evening at Unguwar Dabai, Kofar Kansakali area of Kano Metropolis. 

The Director of the institute, Gwani Yahuza Gwani Danzarga, said 22 of the students had undergone a one-year intensive Qur’an memorisation programme while 30 had been trained on how to recite fluently the complete Qur’an.

Emir Ado Bayero congratulated the students, the school, as well as their parents while charging their parents, especially mothers, on the righteous upbringing of younger ones. 

He tasked the graduating students to keep up in their quest to achieve more in terms of education and always be wary of the kind of friends they kept, praying Allah’s guidance always as they journeyed into a more fulfilling life. 

Delivering his address, Sardaunan Kano and former governor of the state, Senator Ibrahim Shekarau, urged the graduating students to be ambassadors of their homes and communities as future leaders. 

Among the dignitaries in attendance were Kano State Deputy Governor, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna; the Chairman, Kumbotso Local Government Area, Garban Kauye Farawa; and the Executive Director and Editor-in-Chief of Daily Trust, Naziru Mikailu.
