Emmanuel Emenike laced up at Boleyn Ground as he joined Victor Moses and his West Ham United team-mates for his first training session since joining the club from Fenerbahce yesterday.
The Nigerian, 28, joined Slaven Bilic’s side from Al Ain where he played last season after failed to tie down a regular shirt with the Turkish Super Lig side.
West Ham have won 10 of their English topflight games this season and are sixth on the log, and they defeated Aston Villa 2-0 on Tuesday night.
Having secured his permit, Emenike may likely feature for the Hammers when they face Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium on Saturday.
“He [Emenike] is naturally fit but I would like to see him,” Bilic said during a pre-match conference.
“He only arrived yesterday in London because of the work permit issue and other stuff. He will train with us and I will make a decision.”
