While formally declaring yesterday in Abuja, Onu said Nigeria could no longer look to foreign countries for its salvation. According to him, the fact that Nigeria has the key to unlocking its own prosperity is enough for the citizens and his party to elect him as Nigeria’s next ‘chief servant.’
A former governor of Zamfara State, Senator Ahmed Yerima, has also joined the rising number of presidential aspirants on the platform of the ruling APC.
He spoke Friday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja after informing President Muhammadu Buhari of his ambition, saying he would pick the forms immediately.
