According to the Foundation, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ifeyinwa Ugochukwu, will hold a virtual press conference to herald the opening of the application portal.

The Foundation is also celebrating 10 years of empowering African entrepreneurs and catalysing Africa’s development.

So far, the Foundation said it has empowered 9,038 young African entrepreneurs and has supported one million Africans across the 54 African countries.

The Foundation described itself as the leading champion of entrepreneurship in Africa.

“Our objective is to empower women and men across our continent, catalysing economic growth, driving poverty eradication and ensuring job creation.

“We believe the private sector’s role is critical for Africa’s development and that the private sector must create both social and economic wealth,” it noted.
