There was massive turn out of voters in Osun State on Saturday as people trooped out to elect Nigeria’s next president and members of the National Assembly.
At Ward 4, unit 13, Fagbewesa Polling Centre in Osogbo, Osun State, voters came as early as 6.30am waiting for officials.
Security personnel arrived at 6.45am while INEC officials got to the polling centre at 7.32am.
Also at Ward 3, unit 8, ‘Ataoja C’ polling centre, the voting started as early as 8am and voters commended the process.

A person with disabilities, Ruth Omoyemi, and an elderly person, Kudirat Adigun, said they were given opportunity to vote first.
They commended the Independent National Electoral Commission and security operatives for the proper arrangement.
A former governor of the state, Adegboyega Oyetola, voted at Unit 01, Ward 10, Eesekelado polling centre, Iragbiji, Boripe Local Government Area.
Oyetola commended the process and lauded the residents for the large turnout.
Meanwhile, in Ila-Orangun, police arrested two men for allegedly impersonating operatives of the Department of State Service.
The Police Public Relations Officer for Osun State Police Command, Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the arrest of the suspects.
The suspects claimed that one General Gerald Tunbosun brought them to Ila from Ibadan in Oyo State for the election.
The PPRO said the suspects have been handed over to the headquarters of DSS in Osogbo for necessary action.
