The Chartered Institute of Forensics and Certified Fraud Investigators of Nigeria (CIFCFIN) Tuesday said it was set to eradicate the problem of fake certificates among politicians in the country.

The president/chairman of the Council of the institute, Dr Iliyasu Gashinbaki, who stated this in Abuja during a press briefing to unveil the institute, as chartered by statute and the tasks ahead in combating corruption in Nigeria, said the institute will play a major role in the 2027 elections in its work with INEC.
