A statement signed by Mr Muhammad Sani-Bala, Permanent Secretary (PS) in the Ministry of Education, and obtained by Daily Trust in Lafia, the state capital on Wednesday, said the break would commence from February 23 to 28, and March 9 to 14.

He directed principals of boarding schools to take proper records of students leaving for the break and those staying behind.

He urged parents, guardians, chief evaluation officers, principals, head teachers and proprietors of private schools as well as the general public to take note of the development.
